Amber & Christopher

With backgrounds in disability and mental health, Amber and Christopher founded Beragoo with a clear purpose — to provide the kind of support they’d want for their own family. Personal, genuine, and built around each individual.

Together, they bring over 20 years of experience in the sector — backed by a strong foundation of formal qualifications and ongoing professional development. Their combined credentials include a Bachelor of Human Services (Mental Health specialisation), Diploma in Community Services, Certificate IV in Disability, Certificate IV in Business Marketing, and accreditation as Adaptive Snowsport Guides through Disabled Wintersport Australia — alongside numerous industry courses and training completed along the way.

They’re hands-on in every aspect of the business, from welcoming guests to the homestead to ensuring every support plan reflects what participants actually want.

Our Story

A homestead built on genuine care

Beragoo Homestead started as a simple idea, create a place where people with disability and mental illness could enjoy a truly welcoming, stress-free farm stay experience. A place that felt like home, not a service.

Founded by Christopher and Amber, Beragoo has grown from a single homestead near Mudgee into a provider offering accommodation, respite, community participation, in-home support, and school holiday programs across the Central Coast, Central West, and Shellharbour.

What hasn’t changed is the approach. Every person who comes to Beragoo is treated as an individual, with their own goals, interests, and preferences. We listen first, then build support around you.
